Best Sports Bars in Toulouse – A Quick Guide for 2025
There’s a lot about France’s ‘Pink City’ to keep you entertained, but you and I both know that sometimes nothing is more important than finding a pub to watch an important match. So, for you, here’s my take on the best sports bars in Toulouse.

A Quick Guide to the Best Sports Pubs in Toulouse
I’m a football-loving English guy who is usually on the lookout for EPL and Champions League games. If you trust my judgement and just want me to tell you where to go for the best sports-watching experience: My favourite sports bar in Toulouse is The George and Dragon. It ticks all the boxes – English football and Champions League, plenty of screens, happy hour beer and a great atmosphere.

There is one downside to The George and Dragon though, it doesn’t open until 4 pm. So if the game you want to watch kicks off before that, you’ll need to read on to see which of the other sports bars in Toulouse will be showing it.

Best sports pub
As already mentioned, this accolade goes to The George and Dragon.
It opens from 16:00 every day and has a decent happy hour running for the first few hours too. The bar’s stacked with English lagers and ciders so you can get a full English Pub experience while watching the match.
Biggest sports bar in Toulouse
The biggest and self-proclaimed best sports bar in the city is The Danu English Pub. This is a top sports bar, I just really enjoy the vibe in The George, but I’d have no problem going to the Danu if The George were to close.
It has the best food menu out of all of the sports bars in Toulouse, and it opens early enough on the weekend to watch the early kick off in the English Premier League. This is also the best place to watch Six Nations rugby in Toulouse.
Best near Pont Neuf Bridge
If you want to stay close to the river or you’re coming over from St Cyprian and don’t want to trek around the city, get yourself to The Four Monkeys.
This is an Irish Pub in the heart of Toulouse that shows live sport and has an extensive food menu. Burgers, fish & chips, nuggets and nachos are among the dishes on offer here.

It’s the busiest of all the sports bars in the city, so my advice is to get there early to get one of the best seats in front of one of the many screens. There’s a dart board here too, so you can throw a few arrows while keeping an eye on the match.

It opens at 14:45 on weekends, so you’ll only miss little bit of the early kick off if that’s what you’re waiting to watch.
The backup option
If you’re in need of a third, option for a decent sports bar in Toulouse, I have one more for you. The unnecessarily longly named The London Town English Pub Toulouse.
Just because it’s my third choice doesn’t mean that it’s not a good sports bar, it just didn’t do it for me as much as the other two. I think it’s because I left another bar that was serving me pints of Alligem Blond for €4, to go here and be charged €7 for a pint of nothing special lager. If you’re wondering, the Affligem bar is Le Carbet d’Oc.
On the plus side, The London Town sports bar is kitted out like an old English pub, has Sky Sports on many TVs, and is a popular place for expats and tourists to watch a match and air their (often bollocks) views on the match and the state of the game in general. But that’s part of the fun, isn’t it?
Summary of the best sports bars in Toulouse
- The George and Dragon is the best place to watch the match.
- The Danu is a big sports bar that opens early and serves good food.
- The Four Monkeys is the best option near Pont Neuf.
That will do you. Who needs more than three sports bars, not you, not in Toulouse anyway. Cheers.

About the author – The Sketchy Traveller
I’m not really a stickman, but it seems that I like portraying myself as one.
I’m an English guy who’s been travelling since 2017. I was never good at taking photos, sketching just seems to work better for me, and in my opinion, why do you want to see other people’s 4K videos and pictures of the world? Surely it’s better to see it for yourself. You can get in touch through the contact page or Instagram.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Happy travelling.
