TERMS OF USE

Use of: https://thesketchytraveller.com / “The Sketchy Traveller“

This policy is valid from 13th February 2023

The reading of all information on thesketchytraveller.com is of your own free will. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, you should cease use of this website immediately.

If you do, though, fancy reading my awesome and hilarious travel related posts, please stay and have a look around.

I reserve the right to change any of these Terms and Conditions at any given time on this website. I don’t like legal stuff so this is unlikely, as long as no one complains too much.

You might not believe it but I work very hard to provide you with relevant and correct up-to-date information, however, I make no representations or warranties of any kind (expressed or implied) about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability of any information, products, services or related graphics contained on The Sketchy Traveller for any purpose.

This is especially true when it comes to current prices, addresses, opening hours, phone numbers, travel information and website addresses, I advise you to double check this information for yourself. You don’t want to drive for over 2 hours with screaming kids in the back of the car to an amusement park that has been turned into a scrap yard only three days ago, or do you?

I aim to provide you with accurate information at the time of publishing, but some information will understandably be less accurate as time passes.

Should you find any inaccurate information, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will rectify my mistakes and also have a quiet word with myself to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

COPYRIGHT POLICY

Unless otherwise noted, I (Mark Pulley of The Sketchy Traveller) am the legal copyright holder of all (written, multimedia and graphic) material on this website and it may not be used, reprinted, (partially) modified or published without my written consent.

A link to thesketchytraveller.com must appear in all copies of any artwork or content..

HOLD HARMLESS

All the information provided on thesketchytraveller.com is for general information and entertainment purposes only and is the expressed opinion of myself, Mark Pulley (‘The Sketchy Traveller‘) and not others.

I am not providing any medical or legal advice. My 8 GCSE’s and 2 A-Level’s do not make me a professional. You are taking all the provided information at your own risk.

Under no circumstances will I be liable for any loss or damage (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss or damage) or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of or in connection with the use of this website.

I cannot be held responsible for any offence taken due to translation, interpretation or mistakes in grammar and/or punctuation of my website’s content. I am English and therefore have a terrible ability to learn other languages.

Although I try to keep thesketchytraveller.com running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, access to the site may be temporarily or permanently suspended and without notice at my own discretion, due to possible updates or technical issues beyond my control, such as dog deciding that my laptop is a perfect place to relieve himself.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

Any personal and/or contact information provided to me will be kept private. You will not be spammed in any way.

I am not responsible for the privacy practices of any of my advertisers or people that comment on my articles.

ADVERTISERS AND SPONSORS

I am not responsible for the actions of my advertisers or sponsors. If you purchase a product or service based upon a link from my website, you must take action with that company to resolve any issues, not The Sketchy Traveller.

Any product, claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question. Just because I like to ride a scooter up a mountain doesn’t mean you should too! I can only tell you how fun it was for me.

To help the website expand, to cover costs of running the site and for me to be able to fly to South America soon (please buy more things as my savings pot is depressingly low), some advertising and affiliate links are run on my website.

Affiliate links earn me a (very, very) small commission on any purchases made when visiting Amazon after clicking on one of these links. This is at absolutely no cost to you. It’s basically a fee I get for advertising a product, think of me as the friendliest salesman you’ve ever met.

Please keep in mind that I only speak about products/services that I personally recommend and have had experience with. By using my affiliate links, you are helping support this blog to keep it running. You don’t need to make a purchase through my link, but it will much be appreciated if you decide to.

I will do my absolute best to only provide you with information about (travel) products that I truly believe in. I will never take your trust for granted.

All reviews on my website will be presented honestly and I will disclose whether I will be receiving any commissions or products for free.

Thanks for taking the time to read my disclaimer. I spent time writing it after all so it’s nice to know you care. Anyway, get back to my site and have a good look around.
